MAC Cosmetics has launched many collections, including collaborations with Alexander McQueen, Emanuel Ungaro and Internet bloggers. In its latest alliance with Gareth Pugh, MAC Cosmetics will go back to its artsy monochrome origins, working together with the British fashion designer.

Pugh is best known for his gothic-inspired runway looks that he creates alongside make-up artist Alex Box. Back in 2010, his “Goddess From The Grave” Spring 2010 show featured models sporting a deathly grey complexion thanks to MAC’s airbrushed application of the Micronized Airbrush Foundation in a combination of black and white. The collection will include a variety of color products and accessories in special packaging that will focus heavily on Pugh’s favorite colors of black, white and grey.
The collection will be globally launched in New York next month, followed by a backstage turn at the designer’s show in Paris this October.
